On March 16, 2021, Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded METOC Task 002 Option Year One under the overarching METOC ISEA MAC Contract by NIWC Pacific, San Diego, CA. This is a severable, level of effort task to provide Integrated Logistics (ILS) and Configuration Management (CM)) Support for Navy and Marine Corps Programs and Projects supported by the Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Capability-Based In-Service Engineering Agent (CB-ISEA) for the Fleet Readiness Directorate(FRD).

On September 23, 2020, Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded METOC Task 002 under the overarching METOC ISEA MAC Contract by NIWC PAC, San Diego, CA.

On May 8th 2021, Forward Slope’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Principal, Mr. Dale McIntosh will participate in San Diego’s Padres Pedal the Cause virtual event. Padres Pedal the cause  is where participants can register and fundraise in honor of survivors, fighters and loved ones lost to cancer. This Virtual experience opens its doors to anyone who can partake by running, walking, and cycling, 100% of fundraising dollars go directly to cancer research.

Awarded 09/30/2020: FSI will conduct Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) System installations and upgrades in six African countries including Cabo Verde, Senegal, Togo, Ghana, Tanzania, and Kenya in addition to Radar training for Cameroon. $1.1M

In September 2020, the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific awarded Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) a one-year task order under the Command-and-Control Technology and Experimentation (C2&E) IDIQ to provide Software, Data, IT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Platform Engineering support for the Naval Operational Business Logistics Enterprise (NOBLE) program sponsored by PMW 150 and PEO MLB.

Awarded 7/16/2020:  Under this Saudi Arabia contract, FSI will provide systems engineering services and in-country sustainment support for CENTCOM Partner Network (CPN) equipment. In support of the Saudi Arabia Armed Forces (SAAF) mission, FSI will also provide training to SAAF personnel. $3.6M

Awarded on 09/30/2020: On behalf of the Malaysia Armed Forces (MAF), PEO C4I awarded FSI with the task of performing a technical refresh and modernization of existing Coastal Surveillance System radar sites and upgrade the Joint Regional Command Center. On 9 sites. The contract award is $10M

Forward Slope Inc. Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Dale McIntosh, was recently asked in a Senior Professional Forum about the differences between Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) and Microservice architectures.  In this Whitepaper, Mr. McIntosh explores the differences between these concepts and their impact on the Software Architecture of Naval Enterprise Systems.

On 09/30/2020 the Navy’s Program Executive Office for C4I in San Diego, CA awarded Forward Slope, Inc. a Contract for the Installation, Integration and Testing of Maritime Surveillance System (MSS) Equipment at 9 new Azerbaijan in-country sites, and to provide and conduct Maintenance and Operational Training for Azerbaijan State Border Service personnel. The Contract award is for $3.5M.

On September 7, 2020 Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was recognized by the San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work San Diego for the ninth consecutive year.
