FSI Awarded Sri Lanka contract to support Multi-Spectral Maritime Surveillance System (MSMSS)
On July 31, 2024, The Program Executive Officer (PEO), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740) awarded Forward Slope, Inc. a contract to support the modernization of a Multi-Spectral Maritime Surveillance System (MSMSS) comprised of fixed and mobile sensor sites along Sri Lanka’s western, southern, and southeastern coasts. FSI will be responsible for project management, design, procurement, installation, integration, testing, and training of the MSMSS equipment.
FSI will design, procure, and install sensors, microwave links, and networking and C2 equipment and software at Sri Lankan Navy sites to include eight fixed sensor sites, five Regional Command Centers (RCC), and the Naval Headquarters Maritime Operations Center. The contract includes options to deliver mobile sensor systems. FSI’s responsibilities also include construction of self-supporting lattice towers, critical sparing, and comprehensive system training.
